Story Overview
Westbrook is the kind of city where starting over sounds easier than it actually is. In Deadset Darling, Marcus arrives with very little and begins putting his life back together in a place filled with unfamiliar faces, complicated relationships, and plenty of unfinished business.
The story starts quietly, introducing Marcus to the people and places that will become part of his new life. His early days in Westbrook involve finding work, meeting new characters, and figuring out who he can trust, while the choices you make gradually shape his personality and the relationships around him. Some connections are casual at first, but they can develop into much more as the story progresses.
With character routes, personality-based decisions, phone interactions, and free-roam sections, Deadset Darling is built around a gradual, choice-driven narrative rather than a single fixed path. The prologue sets the foundation for Marcus’s new life, while the planned five-episode story continues to expand Westbrook, its characters, and the questions surrounding Marcus’s past.
