Overview
Identity Crisis follows a young man whose life is suddenly thrown into uncertainty after receiving an anonymous message informing him of his father’s apparent death. With no body recovered and only a package containing some of his father’s belongings returned, he discovers that his father had anticipated the dangers surrounding his work and left instructions for his son to seek out people he trusted. When he arrives at their home, he is welcomed as though they had been expecting him all along, raising questions about how much they already know about his father’s mysterious past.
At the same time, a strange woman begins appearing in the protagonist’s dreams, offering him extraordinary power in exchange for her freedom and a mysterious “chance.” As he becomes more involved with the people connected to his father, inconsistencies and unanswered questions begin to emerge, suggesting that important pieces of the story have been deliberately hidden. Determined to understand what happened, he starts investigating the connections between the people around him, the mysterious woman in his dreams, and his father’s past, gradually uncovering secrets that may explain why he was drawn into this mystery in the first place.
