Story Overview
Two women. Two very different lives. And two families whose paths are about to become increasingly difficult to separate.
Karina has learned to rely on her position, connections, and the opportunities available to her. Svetlana, on the other hand, is fighting from a much less comfortable starting point, trying to build an independent life despite financial problems and difficult circumstances. They may approach life differently, but both share the same goal: staying in control of their own future.
As relationships develop and money, attraction, ambition, and personal interests begin pulling people in different directions, both women find themselves making choices that can have consequences far beyond what they originally intended. Some people around them are simply looking for an opportunity—and they’re very good at recognizing weakness when they see it.
Two Fates, Two Families follows the intersecting stories of Karina, Svetlana, and the people surrounding them, focusing on the decisions, relationships, and conflicting interests that gradually bring their lives together. What begins as two separate struggles for independence slowly turns into a much larger story about influence, vulnerability, and the price of getting what you want.
